UK Management College Celebrates 10 Years of Excellence with Landmark SummerFest 2026 at Heaton Park
UK Management College marked a major milestone in its journey with SummerFest 2026, a vibrant community celebration held at Heaton Park, Manchester, bringing together students, staff, senior leaders, academic partners, VIP guests, performers and the wider community to celebrate 10 Years of Excellence in higher education.
The event took place on a perfect sunny day and created a festival atmosphere filled with music, culture, food, games, performances and moments of reflection. The celebration recognised UKMC’s growth since its inception in 2016 and its continued commitment to widening access to higher education, supporting student success and creating opportunities for learners from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed a full programme of activities, including a large outdoor stage, food stalls, games and entertainment provided by KDM Events, as well as performances from UKMC students, staff and guest artists. The event reflected the energy, diversity and community spirit that have shaped UKMC over the past decade.
The event was made even more special by the official declaration of UKMC’s academic partnership with Health Sciences University. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to widening access to high-quality higher education and creating meaningful pathways for students in psychology, mental health, wellbeing and community support.
A key highlight of the celebration was the official unveiling of the UKMC 10 Years of Excellence Anniversary Magazine. The commemorative publication showcases UKMC’s journey from its beginnings in 2016 to its growth as a multi-campus higher education provider. Copies of the magazine were presented to UKMC’s senior leadership team, VIP guests, academic partners and other dignitaries as a keepsake of the milestone celebration.
The event was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including civic leaders, academic partners and community representatives. VIP guests included the Lord Mayor of Manchester, the Mayor of Rochdale, the High Sheriff, and other dignitaries who joined UKMC in celebrating the institution’s contribution to education, opportunity and community impact.
SummerFest 2026 also brought together an impressive line-up of performers and cultural artists, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere throughout the day. Performers included Baul A S M Shafi Mondol, Sultana Yeasmin Laila, Professor Dr Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Baul Doly Mondol, Dr Zahidul Kabir, Johra Hossain Jemi, Sardar Hirak Raja, Amir Hashmi, GAMTA, Pritom Ahmed and Dynamic.
The evening closed on a high note, with guests coming together to dance and celebrate to the music of Amir Hashmi, creating a joyful finale to a landmark day in UKMC’s history.
Speaking about the celebration, a UKMC spokesperson said:
“SummerFest 2026 was a proud and emotional moment for the entire UKMC community.
